He's Here!!!!

It was with great happiness that we welcomed another Coy Eugene Buckley to Zurich, Switzerland tonight at 6:33pm. It was a long journey but all three of us are doing well. The new arrival has sparkling blue eyes and just a few wisps of hair on his sweet head. He weighs about 180 lbs and stands about 5'10". We are so happy to have Coy's dad here with us. Now if only his grandbaby would show up!

Hate to recount this story, but tis true.
Long, long ago in the sunny land of Sevilla far away, happy grandparents showed up to meet their new grandchild on the way... and they waited... and they waited... and then Grandpa Jack Mac had to jet set to some meeting in Abudabi or some other exciting locale, so he left without meeting said grandchild. But Gramma stayed to wait... and she waited... and then they changed her ticket so she could stay one more week... and she waited... and waited... and finally she too had to leave. Then, a few days after her plane took her back to the US of A, then, and only then, did bubby A Mac appear on the scene, born in a record 20 minutes from start to finish. The End.

180? Is that being generous?

If you think that's being generous, when I read it aloud to him this morning I said 170!

Too funny, chica...I remember the waiting with Tate and Tutu and Chief came to town to will me into labor. I kept whispring to Chris, "Does your Mom realize that she can't actually control when I go into labor?" But she picked the 7th and the 7th it was. I'm thinking Miss Buckley will arrive on the 15th and weigh 8 lbs 3 ounces. Can't wait to hear the news and love to you all--Katherine

OK, I'll take the 18th, 11pm. You might want to ditch the Southern Gentility names for something more Christmasy like Holly or Ebenezer or Nicolas. My leaning is boy.

If I was married to Coy, it'd have to be an immaculate, virginal conception. So I'm taking the 25th.
